LAUNDRY JAR AND 15 CUPS OF HANDMADE LAVENDER LAUNDRY SOAP

Just between us girls...I have always loved beautiful containers to store items in. Just don't like those plastic tubs and holders. Never did. I recently made this vintage gallon jar into a laundry soap container. I added the image of our darling girl doing her doll laundry. The top is painted a great jadeite green with the little girl image and a beautiful French green ribbon has been added to the jar with a tag with the same image you see on the jar. The images are clear coated to protect the art work.The jar hold 15 cups of handmade lavender laundry soap which is included with the jar. You can also buy the jar without the laundry soap. The jar is listed both ways on Ebay and you can find the jar on Etsy also. I hope to make more decorative storage jars soon. Keep in watching.

OOOH DARLING!LOOK GIRLS I FINISHED THE BASSINET*SNEAK PEEK

TADAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAA it is finished. It has taken me over a month to accomplish this little work of art but now it is ready to show you and I wanted you to be the first to see it. It is not even on Ebay yet. OOOh so darling all dressed in pink and white and roses and embroidery and wonderful detail. The sweetest lining in those shabby cottage quilted roses and battenburg lace. Four pillows and two are hand embroidered from old embroidery pieces. The doll quilt sports hand embroidery with the sunbonnet girl and quilted roses and fabric from Cheryl. The doll is included. Many more photographs will be forth coming in the Ebay auction. Don't miss. This is one of a kind. I will never make another like this.

OOOH GIRLS LET ME TELL YOU ABOUT CHERYL AND JAMES DACK AND THEIR CONFECTIONS FABRIC

Today I finally finished a doll quilt for my vintage doll bassinet. I am not showing you the completed project yet ....just the doll quilt. I ordered this "yummy" fabric from Cheryl and James Dack who have just recently created the most delightful website called CONFECTIONS FABRIC and you can find them at http://www.confectionsfabric.com/. This beautiful fabric with the roses which borders my doll quilt was found there and I can tell you it is just perfect for this project. I embroidered the sun bonnet girl with the market basket on a piece of vintage linen and the pink fabric with the beautiful roses from CONFECTIONS FABRIC became a wide border.
