I WISH I HAD A BEACH COTTAGE!

Ever since I can remember I wished that I had a beach cottage so you can see why I am completely inspired to create a line like this. I am including a few photos of items we are offering on Ebay now and we plan to expand. We already have beach cottage images in our fabric blocks but we will also include images that you can frame. RARE RIDE ON SCOOTER BIKE/TRIKE

Just between us girls...this is a very old and darling scooter/bike/trike. It was originally used by a very small child or toddler. I picture it with a doll or bear collection or even better yet displayed in a child's room . OOOh it is so dear and I just thought you would enjoy seeing it. ST. FRANCIS IN OUR GARDEN

I am very excited about this statue. Casey put a lovely coat of white paint on him and he just glows. I planted bulbs all around him and I cannot wait till they bloom. On the other side of the bank we will place a bird bath and between St. Francis, the flowers and Hostas and the bird bath we should have a lovely summer setting which I can see from my kitchen window. Tell me about your gardens and your plans this year to add things in the garden. I would love to hear. I have not done much gardening in years and I forgot how much I love it. I want to buy more bulbs and plants to add to the yard. Especially Lavender on the back porch.

HI GIRLS! LOTS GOING ON AT NUTMEG HILL

Dear Girls....we are so busy here at Nutmeg Hill what with working on the yard and planting hundreds of bulbs and sprucing things up....wait till you see our St. Francis statue in the garden. I also found many of my vintage dresses which I have been saving and just started listing. There are two on Ebay right now. One is for an adult and this one would fit a little girl 5 - 6 years old. OOOh this one is from the 1950's and is in wondeful condition and has so many precious details like the lace on the little sleeve openings....the embroidery....the flared skirt and matching ties and the button closure on the reverse side. Love this one and all things vintage. How about you?

OOOH MY GOSH GIRLS!HAVE YOU SEEN THIS YET?

This is an Amish enamelware sink and I just listed it on Ebay. It is a wonderful and unique item and I thought you might like a quick peak via my blog. Just imagine all the ways you could use this sink. Use it in the bath filled with handmade lavender bath salts and use a large seashell for a scoop for your bath water. The bath salts will fill your room with the scent of lavender and fill your bath water with fragrance as well. Float candles in the bowl in water or beautiful pink roses. Use for bath items and place vintage towels on the curly cues that hold up the sink.
Use in a bedroom with fresh towels and wash cloths for your guests. Use for your cosmetics or perfumes and lotions...artfully arranged and so handy. OOOh I don't know if I can keep this listed. So many ways to use this darling and so CHARMING.

MORE DECORATING

Hello girls...as you know I have been updating and redecorating the house. I am almost finished with the guest room and thought you might like to take a peak. I incorporated the Lizzy quilt that has recently become popular. I love the fresh crisp design of the quilt. I used white organdy curtains and made some drapes out of a Lizzy quilt. This keeps the room warm in the winter....allows you to have a dark room for baby in the afernoon and a cozy feeling when the drapes are open and the sunshine is streaming through.
