I don't know if photos show up here but I sure hope they do. I just have to thank this wonderful lady for the poodle blocks she sent me from her give-a-way that I won.
They are so perfect and my little Sassy poodle loved them too. She has to give any poodle mail a kiss.
To answer your question: I think you are asking if you can tat an edging for something after it is already made? Like your ornament or cushions? The answer to that is yes! It would be just like tatting an edging for a hankie. (think square/rectangle)
