Casey recently refurbished our latest find. He did this on Father's Day for me and of course I think that is soooo wonderful. I love this and thought you might like to stop by and enjoy a rest. Just between Us Girls
I did take a quick break here the other day and it was like being in heaven. I want to read a book out here one day soon and just enjoy relaxing and viewing the yard and taking in all the sights and sounds. We have a vintage table to go with this that Casey will work on next. I hope to show you everything when it is finished. Have a lovely Saturday girls....we are off to treasure hunt...something we never tire of.

Dear girls.....here I go blogging again...I just can't help it...I love talking to you and telling you about our treasure hunts. This is beyond a doubt one of my all time favorite items ever and just betweeen us girls if this does not sell on Ebay I am keeping this rare and wonderful printer's cabinet with the 20 oak drawers. Now I am sure I can just fill those up without batting an eyelash. Hope you are all well and happy and enjoying the summer. We are having so much fun here. I want the same for you.

This is my husband's latest creation. His work never ceases to amaze me. I just wanted you to see this first. I cannot make up my mind if I should keep this darling ice cream table and chairs or sell them. What would you do? More photos soon when the sun is out.

Sorry I haven't been blogging much. We are so busy here at Nutmeg Hill from morning to night. We are creating and listing some remarkable items. Here is one I have been working on for days...thought you might like to see it. It is a one of kind altered art suitcase....and it features vintage images of bathing beauties and old fashioned roses. It is filled to the brim with treasures. You can see it in my listings on EBAY RIGHT NOW! Thank you for visiting my blog.
You are always welcome here!
You are always welcome here!
Despite all the new household gadgets, the handiest one to have around the house is still a husband.
I have been given every bit of support that any woman would ever want. He has always been there for me. He is a great rock.
The best way to hold a man is in your arms.
Enjoy your husband, but never think you know him thoroughly.
To love one who loves you, to admire one who admires you, in a word, to be the idol of one's idol, is exceeding the limit of human joy; it is stealing fire from heaven.
May all your dear father's have a remarkable day.
Thoughts about my father. He use to drive me to high school every day and make me laugh all the way there. He often took me to the store and always bought me Pepsi and Hershey bars...unheard of today...but I am glad he did. He always bought bird seed and fed the birds every single day. He worked from sun up till late at night six days a week without ceasing. He worshiped my mother. He was a strong man. He always bought my mother a new convertible every year.
Send me some happy thoughts about your father. I would love to hear them.
