Just a quick sneak peek You can find this pincushion in my Ebay auctions. Thank you for all your kind comments and support on Ebay of my creations.

DEAR GIRLS...SOME ROMANTIC THOUGHTS JUST FOR YOU!

I love February...I love Valentine's day and my birthday is this month.
First I want to share with you a very romantic thought my Casey had. Friday night ... he said we are going to get up very early and go look at a kitchen cabinet I want to purchase. This was not remarkable as we often look at antiques to restore. He loves doing the old Hoosier cabinets. Well Saturday morning came and he said I want to tell you that we are going to look at a Golden Retriever puppy. I had told him I wanted one. No one has ever bought me a puppy or kitten for my birthday ...not even when I was little...I thought it was so sweet of him to think of this. We did not go and look at the puppy...I think it is a romantic thought of mine....actually having the puppy well that is really something to consider. We may go look today...but the puppy has now turned into a Peke to look at.

Now I want to share some LOVE LETTERS with you. We all need some romance in our lives and it is wonderful to read the thoughts others have of their beloved.

To his wife....My Little one, one understands oneself, I imagine. You will never know exactly how and how much I love you; nobody knows it except me. But you almost know. I kiss you enormously. Arnold Bennett 1867 - 1931

To Woodrow Wilson...
This is my pledge, dearest one, I will stand by you...And no matter whether the wine be bitter or sweet we will share it together and find happiness in the comradeship. Edith Bolling Galt (1872 - 1961)

To NIcholas II:
Never did I beleive there could be such utter happiness in this world, such a feeling of unity between two mortal beings. I love you, those three words have my life in them. Alexandra (1972-1918)

To Robert Browning....
And now listen to me in turn. You have touched me more profuoundly than I thought even you could have touched me...my heart was full when you came here today. Henceforward I am yours for everything.
Elizabeth Barrett Browning...(1806 - 1861) OOOh that Elizabeth knows everything about romance. Is there any one like her????

To Elizabeth Wilson

I go about murmuring, "I have made that dignified girl commit herself, I have," and then I valut over the sofa with exultation...Walter Bagehot (1826-1877)
Now did Walter say this or Tom Cruise when he fell in love with Katie ????

All that you are, all that I owe to you, justifies my love, and nothing, not even you, would keep me from adoring you. Marquis de Lafayette (1757-1834) OOOH to be loved like that...remarkable!!!

To Felice Bauer:
...but my heart beats through my entire body and is conscious only of you. I belong to you, there is really no other way of expressing it, and that is not strong enough....Franz Kafka (1883-1924)

To Victorien Sardou:
Your words are my food, your breath my wine. YOU are everything to me....
Sarah Bernhardt (1844 -1923)

To Josephine Bonaparte:
OOOh how Napoleon loved that girl....
A few days ago I thought I loved you; but since I last saw you I feel I love you a thousand times more. All the time I have known you I adore you more each day; that just shows how wrong La Bruyere's maxim that love comes all at once is. Everything in nature has its own life and different stages of growth. I beg you, let me see some of your faults; be less beautiful, less graceful, less kind...less good....Napoleon Bonaparte (1769 -1821)

Does anyone write love letters....I think we need to bring this beautiful tradition back and send love letters back and forth all the time to those we love. To our husband's we could choose lovely papers and pretty ink and scent our messages. Even tie it with a little ribbon and add a bit of candy. We could tuck them inside their jackets without them knowing or in a shirt pocket and they would unexpetedly find our thoughts there to their delight.

We can send happy thoughts to our children telling them what we value about them
and how much we love them and how grateful we are to have them...even little ones culd receive notes of love from us...with a little toy or sutffed animal hidden somewhere they could find it...even outdoors. A message in a tree with a thoughful gift for a child is so sweet and they will be thrilled to find it.

We can send messages to our grandchildren telling them we adore them. We all do!!

Send a note to your Grandmother or Grandfather...they will be so grateful that you cared.

Now if your young and in love...send your lover a beautiful note .....it will make them happy ever after. They will always treasure it and may just send you one back..now that would be wonderful.

Do your have some romantic thoughts...please share them with me and those who read my blog. Tell me now..I cannot wait.
