Well girls JUST BETWEEN US...I am feeling very creative and UP today. No sun here but the snow makes everything light up and it is so pretty it inspires me. I made these beautiful Valentine vintagte ice skates today and they have lovely white satin designer ribbon laces and fluffy and romantic boa trim on the TOPS. So beautiful ......they look grand on a door or table or bench or bed post. Unique and wonderful ....this is one of our signature items. i USE THESE instead of a wreath. I also created the set of 1930's style ornaments. A Valentine boy and girl recreated from some old die cuts that I have had for years. I enhanced the altered art children with fluffy boa trim to match the ice skates and a shimmering loop hanger. You will find dazzling valentine red stars on the figures and glitter galore. I will be listing this set on Ebay today. Please leave a comment when you can. I love hearing from you.

I love the beautiful thoughts in these love letters. Imagine all these love letters tied up with a beautiful silk pink ribbon sitting on a writing desk. Think of how many times they were read. I think letter writing should be brought back into style.
We all need to express our deepest and most profound thoughts to the ones we love in writing. Tell me what you think.
TO JOSEPHONE BONAPARTE:
A few days ago I thought I loved you; but since I last saw you I feel I love you a thousand times more. All the time I have known you I adore you more each day. I beg you, let me see some of your faults: be less beautiful, less graceful, less kind, less good....Napoleon Bonaparte
He was certainly taken with Josphine.
ABOUT Abraham Lincoln
To love and to cherish. It was always music to my ears, both before and after our marriage, when my husband told me that I was the only one, he had ever thought of, or cared for....MARY TODD LINCOLN (1818-1882)
This is a very precious and sweet collage created by Cheryl of ROSEYPOSEYCONFECTION on
ETSY. I adore Cheryl's work. Everything she makes she makes with love and her work is always exceptional. Look at all the sweet details on this collage. Perfect to display any time of year. Be sure to check out Cherly's offerings on Etsy. I am sure you will find something you love.
Just Bewteen Us Girls...I had to show you the last of the photos of the decorating in the family room. This sweet little bench was made from an antique Jenny bed. It is just the right size for a child. I love it. Casey painted this with ivory organdy and now it sits right in front of the bay window...just waiting for a child to sit on it. I cannot wait till Stephen and Ariana(my littlest grandchildren) see it. Ariana being the princess she is will think it a throne and Stephen will think I made it just for him. Thank you for all the sweet comments you leave at my blog...it helps me on this journey through this life and lifts my spirits and makes them soar!

Well my DEAR GIRLS.....I made a few more pillows. Now PRETTY KITTY could not bring herself to sit with the pillows and was sun bathing instead but PANSY GIRL jumped right in. Just a few more pillows to go and I will be finished with this room...except for the darling little scooter trike Casey is painting pink and white to match the one in the large framed print in the room. I cannot wait to show you that!
To Love one who loves you, to admire one who admires you in a word, to be the idol of one's idol, is exceeding the limit of human joy; it is stealing fire from heaven.
A woman can be anything that the man who loves her would have her be.
So dear I love him, that with him all deaths I could endure, without him live no life.
My husband is my hero!!!
This is to let you kknow that all I feel for you can never wholly go. I love you and miss you, even two hours away, with all my heart. This is to let you know. NOEL COWARD 1899-1973
to Robert Browning:
And now listen to me in turn. You have touched me more profoundly than I thought even you could have touched me----my heart was full when you came here today. Henceforward I am yours for everything.....Elizabeth Barrett Browning 1806-1861
(Does anyone express thoughts of love better then Elizabeth)
Good Morning girls....I have been working on these pillows since 4AM AND IT IS 9:30AM NOW and I still have more pillows to make but I wanted to show you my progress. I promised you photos as I completed areas in the family room. I just want it cozy and inviting. Casey and I found this incredible bench which is made from an antique bed this summer and he painted it for me the most wonderful ivory organdy and I have been wanting to create the cushion and pillows for it. So here you go. Your the first to see it...Casey is still asleep and no one else is here except Tom Cat who has been helping me at the sewing table all morning. Please leave comments. It makes me so happy to hear from you.
