I LOVE LOVE your blog! My guess is a camping stove for baking potatoes and maybe toast?? also It's a Wonderful Life #1 is my favorite movie and I LOVE LOVE your blog It's a Wonderful Life Hugs Sherrie
Sherrie's toast idea sounded pretty good. Having the holes in the middle makes me think it is for cooking some meat - maybe a chicken or turkey propped on the wires. Alison
well shoot!!! i had meant to ask my DH to identify this and i see someone already won...well of course i forgot to ask him, he probably would have known this too!!!
Pat, thank you so much for the beautiful comment you just left me! You made my day, I am so happy you think it looks okay!!! Thank you so much for the wonderful tip! Everytime I look at my table, I smile and think of you!
Yes! I have one! It's actually a primitive toaster! I believe it was put in an oven after the bread is laid on the sides. They're definitely conversation pieces! I haven't had mine down from its high shelf perch in ages. Thanks for reminding me to take it down and maybe decorate somewhere else with it. Diane
