Pat, now look what you've done - another precious journal! Thanks for coming by to see me. You know, I just do twice the size of the pillow for the ruffle, especially if the ruffle is a short one. I used to make about 5 inch ruffles and would make them 3 times the size of the pillow. But being that deep, they didn't stand up very well. Hope that helps.
