Welcome to Just Between Us Girls!

As I enter into the exciting world of BlogLand today I thought I'd begin by showing you a few of the things I've been working on. There are lots of lovely things being created here on Nutmeg Hill these days! We love Christmas and are looking forward to sharing the holiday with you. Come inside and see what we've been up to! Having such fun making our signature Christmas stockings in all sorts of lovely fabrics...from "girly" Rachel Ashwell prints to traditional reds and greens to vintage quilt pieces.

You can see a bit of our gorgeous yard in this shot....my husband has been hard at work here at Nutmeg Hill, as always, keeping it lovely.

Besides stockings, some of our favorite holiday decorations are wreaths. You may be imagining a simple evergreen ring, perhaps with a red velvet bow? We love that sort of wreath, too, but what we have fallen in LOVE with is something that is really a labor of love, a work of art and a way to showcase precious vintage treasures. Our wreaths have become our "signature" offerings during the holidays and though they are very hard to part with, we're sharing just a few of them with our friends this year. Here are a few of this years' offerings...these two have already sold.

This one-of-a-kind creation is simply DRIPPING with vintage goodness! I have collected vintage Christmas ornaments for thirty years and this wreath was made from that collection. You will be delighted with the rich quality and design of this wreath. It is very generously made with great attention to detail and design. A grand heirloom to pass down to the next generation. Last but not least, I have a few more pretty things to share with you! Guests are always welcome here at Nutmeg Hill, especially at the Holidays. So I've been hard at work, decorating high and low.
